- Beat the eggs. Add the FF ½ & ½, nutmeg, vanilla extract and salt. Mix together.
- Soak the bread slices in the mixture.
- Fry the soaked bread on one side until golden brown in butter, then turn and fry until the other side is golden brown.
TIP: To get an awesome thick layered crust on each side, I spoon on some of the egg mixture and then reflip to cook thus creating a thicker egg crust on each side.
Peanut Butter Syrup:
¼* cup of your preferred syrup like pure maple syrup or normal pancake syrup (I use a sugar free one)
1 heaping Tablespoon peanut butter
*use ½ cup if you prefer a thinner syrup
Warm maple syrup in microwave until warmed, about 30 seconds then stir in peanut butter until smooth. Can top with sliced bananas, coconut, or whatever you like!
